All You Need
To become an official dealer and get access to dealer privileges, you need two things:
- Hands-on experience with cars: diagnostics, auto electrics, mechanics or a related field
- A licensed Slave Tool connected to our network
You do not need chiptuning experience: we train you to work with the equipment and ECUs, and provide technical support and guidance on every file.
If you already have a compatible Slave Tool, you can join us even if it was not purchased from us or is currently linked to another Master Tool. We can help you switch the connection and activate your dealer setup.
If you do not have the equipment yet, you can get it from our store and start working right away.
What is a Slave Tool and how is it different from a Master?
The Slave Tool is what the dealer works with. You read and write ECU firmware with it right at your workshop. The read file travels encrypted to the CHIPTUNER engineers through the File Service; we prepare the calibration, and you flash the finished firmware to the car.
The tool works only inside our partner network. With a Slave Tool you get dealer prices on files, training and support from our team. You also become an official CHIPTUNER dealer and can place your workshop on our dealer map.
The Master Tool is for independent specialists. It lets you open and edit original files, work with any file provider, and develop and test your own calibrations. The dealer benefits that come with a Slave Tool do not apply to the Master Tool.
